The Getty Villa

Overview

The Getty Villa in Malibu is a museum dedicated to ancient Greek, Roman, and Etruscan art and culture, set in a stunning re-creation of a first-century Roman country house.

Accessible parking is available, and accessible restrooms are on site. Frequent benches and rest areas are positioned throughout the grounds, and reserved wheelchair seating is available for theater programs. Note that the Villa’s hillside terrain means some outdoor areas involve slopes — check the accessibility guide for route details.

Captioning, audio guides, assistive listening devices, and sign language interpreters are available for programs and events.

Service animals are welcome.

Visitors recommend following official directions via southbound PCH because GPS can direct to wrong location. Villa is fully ADA accessible with ramps and elevators throughout.
