Rancho Los Cerritos Historic Site is a 4.74-acre historic adobe home and garden in Long Beach, open to all visitors. The site offers docent-led house and garden tours as well as self-guided tours in English, Spanish, Khmer, and Tagalog. The first level of the historic home and many garden paths are wheelchair accessible, and a loaner wheelchair is available upon request. Because the second story of the adobe is not wheelchair accessible, a virtual tour is offered as an equivalent experience. Accessible parking is available in front of the Visitor Center and in the forecourt parking lot.
Rancho Los Cerritos offers a Sensory Guide that uses simple symbols to help visitors identify levels of light, sound, and touchable elements throughout the site, including the historic adobe rooms and Native Garden. Staff are available to assist guests with additional sensory needs. Advance notice is appreciated for any special accommodations the site may be able to provide. Virtual tour options are also available online for those who cannot visit in person.
