The Museum of Social Justice is a free museum located at La Plaza United Methodist Church on historic Olvera Street in Los Angeles. Admission is free for all visitors, with donations welcomed. The museum is open Thursday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and closes during major holidays and in the event of rain.
Mobility device access to the museum is available via La Plaza United Methodist Church, located above the museum. Visitors using mobility devices should send a group member ahead so a docent can assist. There are no public restrooms at the museum itself; however, accessible restrooms are available nearby at the Avila Adobe House and near Mr. Churro on Olvera Street. Visitors should be aware that floors and stairs can be slippery, and handrails are available on all stairways.
