Overview
Los Angeles State Historic Park is a 32-acre open green space in the Los Angeles River neighborhood near Chinatown, used for community events, concerts, and recreation on the former site of a rail yard.
Accessible parking and accessible restrooms are available on site. Admission is free. Leashed dogs are welcome throughout the park.
Visitors report the park is highly manageable for wheelchair users — the trail surface is paved concrete with a gentle grade throughout, and benches and picnic tables are available along the route for resting. The four designated accessible parking spaces are all van-accessible with striped access aisles.
