Bowers Museum

Bowers Museum is a cultural history and fine art museum in Santa Ana, California, housing collections spanning Native American, African, Pacific, and pre-Columbian art. The museum’s campus is wheelchair accessible, with accessible parking available in the lot directly north of the museum. Accessible restrooms are available on-site, and the museum’s layout provides accessible routes throughout the galleries, including an elevator to the small second-floor area. Four loaner wheelchairs are available at no charge, two at each admission desk, first-come-first-served with an ID held.

Audio guides are available in English, Spanish, and Mandarin, accessible via QR code on the visitor guide or at bowers.org/audio. Digital guides for visitors with low vision are available for select exhibitions at guide.bowers.org.

Weekdays tend to be quieter, with emptier galleries in summer; the Historic Courtyard and Sculpture Garden offer outdoor spaces to step away from crowds.

The museum welcomes service animals. Admission is charged for general visitors, with children under 12 admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult. The museum is closed on Mondays and select holidays, and is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm.
