The Hammer Museum in Westwood is a free contemporary art museum affiliated with UCLA, known for its thought-provoking exhibitions and public programs.

Accessible parking and drop-off zones are available. Accessible routes run throughout the galleries, frequent benches and rest areas are provided, reserved wheelchair seating is available for programs, and loaner mobility aids can be requested. Note that some gallery and restroom doors do not have push-to-open switches — Hammer Ambassadors on the floor can assist.

Captioning, assistive listening devices, and sign language interpreters are available for programs and events.

Doors to galleries, restrooms, and some other museum spaces may be difficult for some to open, and do not have a push-to-open activation switch. Please ask a Hammer Ambassador if you need assistance opening a door.
Portable stools are available for use in the galleries. Just ask any Hammer Ambassador stationed in the galleries.
