LACMA is the largest art museum in the western United States, spanning multiple buildings on Wilshire Boulevard with a collection of over 142,000 works across 6,000 years of history.
Every gallery, restroom, dining service, and outside space at LACMA is wheelchair accessible, and motorized wheelchairs are welcome. Accessible parking is available on the first floor of the Pritzker Parking garage, with the entrance on 6th Street, on a first-come, first-served basis. Drop-off points are on 6th Street near the parking structure entrance and on Wilshire Boulevard in front of Urban Lights. Complimentary wheelchairs are available at the Ticket Office during regular operating hours, first come, first served. Accessible restrooms are on site, and frequent benches and rest areas are provided throughout the campus.

For a quieter visit, LACMA recommends arriving during the first hour of opening or one to two hours before closing. Service animals are welcome.
Visitors report the museum is quietest on weekday afternoons. Some visitors note staff with bags of touchable objects for tours, helpful for visitors who have vision impairments.
