The Institute of Contemporary Art LA in the Arts District is a free contemporary art space focused on emerging and experimental work from LA and beyond.
The entire gallery space is step-free. An accessible parking space at the front of the museum can be reserved by calling the front desk, and one wheelchair is available to borrow, also reserved through the front desk. Front-row or wheelchair-accessible seating can be reserved for public programs. The museum has two wheelchair-accessible restrooms. Public programs are posted to the museum’s website with captions a few weeks after each event, for visitors who’d like to watch later. For visitors who can’t easily visit in person, ICA LA offers a digital viewing space with all of its exhibitions online.
