Long Beach Convention Center

Overview

The Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center (LBCEC) is a major waterfront multi-venue complex in downtown Long Beach, hosting conventions, trade shows, concerts, theater productions, and community events across more than 400,000 square feet of event space. The campus includes the Long Beach Arena, Terrace Theater, Beverly O’Neill Theater, Pacific Ballroom, and extensive exhibition halls. Designated ADA parking is available in all four surrounding parking structures, with a valid disabled placard or license plate required; all disability parking is first-come, first-served and requires payment. Guests are encouraged to use designated drop-off zones for quicker access to the facility. Accessible entrances, elevators, an ADA lift on the Seaside level, accessible restrooms, and step-free pathways are available throughout the venue. Accessible seating areas include space for at least one companion seat, located adjacent to accessible seats subject to availability. Service animals are permitted per ADA guidelines.

Both the Terrace Theater and Beverly O’Neill Theater are handicap accessible and equipped with assistive listening systems for guests who are hearing-impaired. Staff are trained in emergency preparedness and evacuation procedures to ensure the safe exit of all guests, including individuals with disabilities. Event organizers may provide additional accessibility services specific to their events, so visitors are encouraged to check with their event in advance for any supplemental accommodations.

Visitors report that the venue is large and easy to navigate, with no steps or stairs in the main areas and accessible parking conveniently near entrances. Some visitors note that certain parking areas require a longer walk to venue entrances, so use of the drop-off zones is recommended for those with mobility needs.
