Salt Creek Beach

Salt Creek Beach is a public beach in Dana Point managed by OC Parks, offering beach access, a bluff-side picnic area, surfing, swimming, fishing, and a food concession. Visitors with a disability placard or handicap license plate displayed on their vehicle may be driven down the access road to reach the beach area and Bluff Park below — otherwise the road is restricted to county personnel, lifeguards, and emergency vehicles. All four public restrooms at the beach are handicap accessible, located in the parking lot, near the snack bar, north of the snack bar near the private party area, and south of the snack bar past the main lifeguard tower.

Parking is available at $1 per hour. The drop-off arrangement via the access road is the primary mobility accommodation for those who cannot manage the descent from the upper parking area on their own. The access road may not be used for loading or unloading belongings — it is exclusively for transporting people with visible disability placards.
