VELO Sports Center

VELO Sports Center is America’s largest indoor velodrome, a 100,000-square-foot, 250-meter Siberian pine track located within the Dignity Health Sports Park complex in Carson, CA. As part of a broader ADA-compliant campus, the complex provides designated accessible parking — including van-accessible spaces — reserved for vehicles displaying a valid state-issued disability placard or license plate, with accessible entry via Gates A, B, or D. Accessible restrooms, gates, ticket windows, drinking fountains, concession counters, and seating areas are available across the complex. Complimentary wheelchair escorts are available upon request from any Guest Services Representative at the entrance gates.

The Dignity Health Sports Park campus — which encompasses the VELO Sports Center — offers open captioning for PA announcements during sporting events, assistive listening devices available by advance request (at least one week prior to an event), and sign language interpretation for select events with at least two weeks’ advance notice. A Sensory Room provides a controlled, low-stimulation space for decompression, and Sensory Kits with fidget tools and noise-reduction headphones are available at no cost from Guest Services. Baby changing tables are available in all restrooms throughout the complex, and a private Nursing Room with changing table, electrical outlets, and refrigerator is accessible via the southeast Guest Services location. Service animals (trained or in training) are permitted throughout the venue.

Visitors report that the facility is generally wheelchair accessible with convenient parking, and third-party sources note the venue is flagged as wheelchair accessible with restrooms on site. The indoor track environment maintains a consistent 72°F temperature year-round, which some visitors find comfortable for extended visits.
