The Hilbert Museum of California Art is a free art museum located on the Chapman University campus in Orange, California. The museum is entirely on one level, with the main entrance level with the parking lot and sidewalk, making it step-free throughout. Two disabled-designated parking spaces are available directly in front of the museum, and visitors with a valid state-issued disability placard may also park in any other museum or Chapman University space without a museum parking permit. All restrooms in the building are accessible.
Drop-off and pick-up are permitted at the museum’s main entrance. The museum is approximately half a block from an OCTA and Chapman University bus stop, with flat sidewalks connecting the stop to the entrance. The Orange train station, served by Metrolink’s Orange County and Inland Empire-Orange County lines, is approximately one block west. Service animals are permitted inside the museum as required by law; emotional support and comfort animals are not classified as service animals and are not permitted.
