South Coast Repertory (SCR) is a professional theater in Costa Mesa, California, with three performance spaces: the Segerstrom Stage, the Julianne Argyros Stage, and the Nicholas Studio. Accessible seating is available in all three theatres and must be arranged in advance through SCR Ticket Services. The Segerstrom Stage offers step-free seating in Row N; the Julianne Argyros Stage provides accessible seating via a ramp (House Left, Row G Orchestra), first row of the Mezzanine, and elevator access to the first row of the Balcony (House Right); and the Nicholas Studio has accessible seating in the first row. Accessible restrooms are located in the lobby. Accessible parking is available in the parking structure off Anton Boulevard on Park Center Drive. All certified service animals wearing service-identification gear are welcome.
The Segerstrom and Julianne Argyros stages offer assistive listening devices from Listen Technologies, which work in conjunction with personal hearing devices and can be checked out from lobby concessions with a photo ID or credit card deposit. ASL-interpreted performances are offered for the deaf, hard-of-hearing, and ASL community, with interpreter seating located stage right. SCR also presents sensory-friendly and relaxed performances for select productions throughout the season. Pre-Visit Guides for the Segerstrom Stage and Julianne Argyros Stage are available, explaining the theatre-going experience in simple language, and serve as social narratives for visitors who benefit from advance preparation.
