The Exploratorium is a hands-on environment for kids to learn about science. Almost every exhibit is tactile, interactive. The space itself can be loud because it’s in a warehouse. There is one section up a flight of stairs. The tactile dome is a sensory experience to find you way thought a maze in the dark. It involves feeling different things, walking, crawling, climbing, etc.
